Refrigeration Basics Module 1: Heat and Methods of Heat Transfer (2 hours) TDLR # 1760 This course covers the primary methods of heat transfer, different types of heat transfer, and types of latent heat. Also covered are the componets of pressure.

This training course consists of three parts. Part one will provide you with a general overview of the EPA Risk Management Program Rule and Requirements:
- Overview of the EPA Risk Management Program Rule
- EPA Risk Management Program Internal Compliance Auditing
- Maintaining Compliance with the EPA Risk Management Program Requirements
In Part two, using the EPA’s Risk Management Program inspection checklist, we will cover each of the requirements and clarify exactly what you need to do and document to meet EPA requirements and how to be prepared for a state or EPA inspection.
Part three will provide with important tips and resources for achieving and maintaining compliance with the many Risk Management Program requirements.

Bloodborne Pathogens
This training course is designed to provide a basic understanding of bloodborne pathogens, common modes of their transmission, methods of prevention, and other pertinent information. Through this course, students will able to meet the requirements of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration's (OSHA's) Bloodborne Pathogen Standard.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
- Understand the bloodborne pathogens
- Identify the types of diseases which can be transmitted through the bloodborne pathogens
- Recognize the symptoms of bloodborne diseases

Electrical Fundamentals 4 Hour Package
Description
In this four lesson program on basic electrical fundamentals, we will be introducing and studying the general physics that is the basic natural laws which govern the application in utilization of electricity. This material will serve as the solid foundation on which to build the more advanced concepts that are dealt with in our many other training programs.
Water and Wastewater State Requirements
Wastewater - Alabama State Requirements
The Alabama Department of Environmental Management-Operator Certificate Program requires that Wastewater Operators obtain 24 CEUs every three years, by the initial licensure date. The following topics are accepted for credit:
•Up to 4 hrs maximum per renewal period of cardiopulmonary resuscitation training (CPR)
•Up to 8 hrs maximum per renewal period of trenching and shoring training
•Up to four hours maximum per renewal period of confined space entry training
•Up to eight hours maximum per renewal period of laboratory safety training
•Up to four hours maximum per renewal period of legal liability training specifically geared toward water or wastewater operators
•Up to four hours maximum per renewal period of stormwater pollution prevention training
Wastewater - Florida State Requirements
Single license holders - Each licensee, who holds only a single license, must complete the following amount of CEU’s for their licensure level:
•Class A must obtain Two CEU's (20 hours)
•Class B must obtain Two CEU'S (20 hours)
•Class C must obtain One CEU (10 hours)
•Class D must obtain One-Half of one CEU (5 hours)
Dual license holders - Each licensee, who holds dual licenses, must complete the following amount of CEU's for their licensure level: Dual license holders at the A or B you must obtain 1.5 CEU's for each. (30 hours)
All other combinations of dual licensure will require obtaining CEU's for each level based on the CEU's required for single license levels. A certified operator who is teaching an approved CEU course shall, upon receipt of documentation, receive credit equal to the CEU's approved for that course. The CEU credit can only be received once for a particular course during the two-year renewal cycle. A certified operator who teaches an approved residence course (required for an examination) may use this experience for one-half of the required CEU's needed to renew his license. This credit can only be received ONCE during that CEU renewal cycle. If you have a C or D and any other license you will need the CEU requirement for each individual license.
Risk Management Protection
State Board approval has been requested for this course; until it is approved this course is only offered as professional development. No state CEU will be given for this course.
Wastewater - Louisiana State Requirements
All courses are approved by the Louisiana Dept of Public Health and Hospitals, Operator Certification Board.
Wastewater - Maryland State Requirements
Division of Water Quality
Water and Wastewater Operators must take 6 hours of continuing education every year by December 31st.
All courses are approved by the Maryland Dept of the Environment - Board of Environmental Sanitarians.
Wastewater - Ohio State Requirements
Ohio Sanitarian Renewal Certificates of registration shall expire annually on the December 31st. Eighteen hours of Continuing Education are required before renewal.
Water & Waste Water Operators
The State of Ohio Board of Environmental Protection Agency requires that Class A licensees earn 8 CEUS, Class I Distribution & Collection earn 12 CEUS and Class II – IV earn 24 CEUS. Operators are required to report their CEUs every two years by December 31st. Please Note: Operators who hold more than one active certificate shall have the number of contact hours required for the renewal of each certificate reduced by 25%. All 8 hour requirements will be reduced to 6 hours, all 12 hour requirements will be reduced to 8 hours, and all 24 hour requirements will be reduced to 18 hours.
Wastewater - South Carolina State Requirements
South Carolina Board of Environmental Certification
Continuing Education for Water, Water Distribution, Biological Wastewater and Physical/Chemical Wastewater Operators Between July 1, 2005 and June 30, 2009 every operator must obtain a total of 12 hours (clock hours) of continuing education or pass an exam of the next highest level. Six (6) hours must be in the area of core competency dealing with support systems and unit process/process control. Continuing education can be obtained from schools, workshops, seminars, conferences and/or in-house training sessions. Keep records of everything attended. When you receive your renewal form each year, there will be a space to record the number of hours you have received. Continuing Education for Well Drillers
Between July 1, 2005 and June 30, 2007, every well driller must obtain twelve (clock hours) continuing education or pass the appropriate examination for his/her license grade. Continuing education can be obtained from schools, workshops, seminars, conferences and technical sessions at meetings. Continuing education must be information that is relevant to well drilling or well construction. Examples of relevant courses include: safety, operation and maintenance of equipment, geology, math, engineering, environmental subjects, first aid and water chlorination. Keep records of all relevant information. When you receive your renewal form each year, there will be a space to record the number of hours you have received.
